Description

Event Welcome

Are you looking for higher profits and lower scores?

If your golf game is more successful than your business game, or if your business game is more successful than your golf game, this special training symposium will help you perform at a higher level with both games.

Focus

Both games require focus. When we are distracted in business, or in golf, our games will slip. Plan on the golf lessons to improve your business and the business lessons to improve how you golf.

Master Your Games is TWO SEMINARS IN ONE, featuring 18 business lessons to improve your golf game and 18 golf lessons to improve your business game.

Patrick McGaughey, CPF, IOM is partnering with the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce to present and facillitate this half-day interactive business and golf symposium for men and women business professionals who golf or have clients who golf. (You do not need to be a golfer to take advantage of this training.)

Program Highlights:

  • The very first lesson begins with a secret on how to motivate other people as well as yourself. See how your expectations of the symposium will directly relate to your own motivation and motivating others to improve.
  • The practice tee: Learn why doctors and lawyers call their business "a practice" and how we can improve our practice in the office and on the practice tee. The disciplines you'll learn will impact both games.
  • Visualizing success: We all know visualization is important but do we know how and why it works for our business and golf games? Long range visioning is a discipline for success in every venture we take on.
  • The unethical golf swing: Do you have an unethical golf swing? Learn how a classic business ethics test can actually improve your golf swing and lower your score while idenifying disciplines to raise our ethical standards.
  • How course management can improve business leadership skills: We don't build our golf game from behind the desk so why do it in our business? It's a great lesson learned from Bagger Vance.
  • Get out of trouble: The same lessons that improve your sand wedge skills can work in the office when trouble happens and leadership is required. Learn what to do and what NOT to do when crisis hits and 60 Minutes wants an interview.
  • Sales training can improve every aspect of your golf game: You learn how to critique yourself on the course and critique employees while saving their dignity at the same time. Make improvement a put up, not a put down experience.
  • Closing the deal on the green: Learn what the great putters and great salesmen know when it comes to sinking putts and closing sales. The lessons and disciplines are dynamic and hard to forget in this training format.

These are just eight focal points from over 36 skills and strategies offered to improve both games in your life!
